In addition to building Cabin 9 Consulting, founder and CEO Jennie Dickerson serves as the Director of Communications and Development at Lakeshore Camp and Retreat Center. She creates a cohesive, annual fundraising plan that makes up 12% of the annual budget. She moves the organization from emergency fundraising to strategic, budget-relieving campaigns for the annual, campership, and building funds. Using an alumni-based model, moves management, and a newly-created culture of philanthropy, she has grown the number of donations by an average of 21% annually.

Cabin 9 Consulting worked to revamp two fundraising campaigns, largely focused on church support. We updated marketing materials and engaged a wider base of supporters through one-on-one phone calls, social media, and mailed packets. By reinvigorating their campaigns and increasing contact with supporters, Hannah’s Hope tripled their contributions that year.

Camp Magruder hired Cabin 9 Consulting to launch the organization’s first annual fund campaign. We started with administrative processes, gift entry, and acknowledgement to prepare for a launch. The Light the Way campaign materials by Cabin 9 Consulting were shared on social media, email, direct mail, and video. Cabin 9 Consulting facilitated prospect identification and direct ask training, resulting in several four- and five-figure gifts.

The relationship between UTM Wesley Foundation and Cabin 9 Consulting started with a strategic plan that resulted in a need for a fundraising plan. With a clear vision, plans for the future, and training by Cabin 9 Consulting, they launched a successful multi-channel campaign that increased their annual giving by 500%.
